Review the Bluehost Terms of Service to become acquainted with the details of ending your account. Have a look at Sections 2 and 3 of the terms of service. There you will find information related to refunds, nonrefundable fees, and terminating your account.

It is highly advised that you store a backup of all your data such as any emails, databases, and files that you may want to keep. Once you terminate your hosting account with Bluehost, this information will be removed from the servers.

Reach out to the Bluehost Billing Section via call at (888) 401-4678 or initiate an interactive conversation with a Bluehost correspondent.

Ask the Bluehost representative to terminate my account.

Please provide the representative with your first and last name, the domain name linked to the account you're cancelling, and the last four digits of your cPanel login password (or the last 4 digits of the credit card number, if you paid via credit card) and the 7-digit PayPal Invoice Number (if you paid via PayPal). In order to process the refund, when applicable, you may be asked to confirm that the card/account is still valid.

If you do not wish to keep your domain name active, you can request to turn off the Auto-Renew setting. This will prevent your domain name from renewing automatically and using the services provided by the Bluehost Domain Manager.
