Cancel Cox Internet Service

Method 1:

If you choose to end a contract before the stated term, there may be a termination fee. However, if a 12- or 24-month service agreement or service term was not signed, then there are no charges from Cox for canceling. Additionally, Cox will calculate your bill accordingly so you will not be billed after you have cancelled.

If you have to break your 1 or 2-year commitment with Cox before it's completed, an early termination fee must be paid. The amount owed is $10 per each remaining month in the term. For example, if you are 6 months away from the end of your contract and decide to cancel, you’ll pay an early termination fee of $60. The closer to the end of your agreement you are, the smaller your fee will be; cancel 1 month early and the fee is $10.

Log in to https://www.cox.com/coxapp/myservices to determine the status of your service agreement prior to cancellation. In the event that you've been a Cox customer for an extended period of time without making any alterations to service, you likely are no longer under contract.
